Arctic inspiration

My dear travelers, 

Once again, thank you very much for choosing to travel with me. It has been a delight to have you on board and to show you the hidden secrets of Svalbard. As the expedition team, we are honored to have the chance to fill our hearts with unforgettable experiences with you. We only know how mind-boggling it is to come back to reality after such an adventure. To walk around and feel life with a better appreciation of everything that grows and lives. Perhaps you now realize, after visiting the Arctic, that you cannot take everything, if anything, for granted. We are sure you feel a bit disconnected, finding it hard to share what you lived for 10 days with your friends and family. Maybe you had not expected how much visiting these fragile ecosystems would affect you. Our only advice is to take the time for yourself to deeply appreciate your adventure, looking through the numerous pictures you took or at the texts you wrote in your journals. Take the time then to inspire with the sincerity of your words. You were maybe just visitors, but you are now ambassadors of the Arctic. You are now a voice able to translate what an Arctic expedition is all about.’

These are my words given to my dear guests after I showed them around in Svalbard. They resume well what the spirit of modern-day expedition cruising is about.
